BC Government has two queues for name approval. We file all name apporval in 2 business hours. But BC govt. normally takes 3 weeks to process in a regular queue. If you have time constraint, we recommend to select the Priority Queue which is processed in 1 business day.

BC government considers 3 names in one submission. If you select only one name, you are not taking full advantage of other two alternative names. If you choose 3 names, it goes by priority basis. First preferred name will be considered first. If the first preferred name gets rejected, then second and third will be considered sequentially.

A NUANS® Report having exact conflict or partially conflict with an existing name won't work. In such case, you have to order again a new report with an alternative name. This process will continue until you get a successful report. The process costs money and time. To avoid this problem, government has introduced the pre-search system in the name database.
